Wishing, Longing, Hoping

Is this what i wish for
to be constantly afraid
of what another has to give
knowing that if whats given isnt seeked
i have no reason to live
Is this what i long for
to find love in ones arms
only to yearn to be free of the feeling
to be caught by ones ways
only to restate the words from the beginning
Is this what i hope for
for a feeling actually being returned
only for me to fear giving back
to know that there is one out there
who has the power to love and do just that
Is this how these words end
me standing in confusion
wishing, longing, hoping
i may come to a real conclusion
